This is my go-to travel bag for more than 10 years now, a Jansport backpack. Nothing fancy but ever reliable and durable. It might not be new and pretty compared to other 'brand' bags but whenever I see it, it reminds me of all the travel experiences that I have had over the years.
It has been on countless trips both locally and internationally. It has been placed under the seat or inside the overhead bins. It's been filled to capacity. One time it contained two laptops, one iPad, a hardbound book, a sweater, a small bag full of electronic paraphernalia, and a make-up kit. But, its stitches are still in place, with no rips or tears.
I bought it for about Php2000 and it was already on sale. Sometimes, I've been tempted to replace it with a more 'sexier' and popular bag but I still choose it all the time.
That's how life is --- you always have a choice and you alone will decide for you.
