MINISO Japanese Lifestyle Store opens in SM City Cebu

Miniso, a Japanese lifestyle brand, officially opened its Cebu store on November 3, 2017. Located at the 2nd floor of SM City Cebu, the store attracted wide attention from shoppers looking for great deals.

Miniso was founded by Japanese designer Junya Miyake and Chinese entrepreneur Ye Guo Fu in 2011. Their concept of a variety store that would specialize in household and consumer goods was a huge success in China and Japan. They eventually expanded and opened stores in Asia, Europe, North America, South America.

Their vast inventory includes toys, gadgets, cosmetics, stationery, kitchenware, watches, bags, underwear, and many more. When I first stepped foot in Miniso, I didn't know where to start. So, what I did was to go around the store, and peruse the items.

If you're thinking of doing your Holiday shopping early, they have great deals and their products are quality-made.

Plus, you can earn and use your BDO Rewards and SM Advantage points for your purchases.

My impression of Miniso is like going to a smaller scale Ikea (without the furniture). You'll also end up buying one thing or other.

Here are some of items that I saw during my first day at Miniso SM City Cebu.

 Bags

From backpacks to shoulder bags to pouches and to book bags. There are plenty of options to choose from.

Toys

When I found myself at the Toy section, I saw a lot of yellow because of the Minions. Kids will love to be on this side of the store.

Watches

Can you believe that these fashion watches are just under 500 PHP?! Isn't that a bargain?

Stationery

This section of the store are for those who are into journaling or love collecting notebooks. When I was browsing the selection, there were several shoppers who stop by and bought the notebooks.

Organizers

I have a soft heart for plastic organizers, and there were different kinds of organizers available.

Intimate Apparel

Miniso is also selling underwear and other intimate accessories for both men and women.

Kitchenware

For aspiring chefs and bakers, they also sell pots, pans, baking equipment, and other kitchen or dining room items.

After an hour of window shopping, I ended up buying a set of white metal hangers that I can use for my pants and slacks. And I only paid 99 PHP for a set of 10!
