Last Sunday, February 28, was the unveiling of the newest coffee shop located in Talamban, Cebu City. In recent years, more and more Cebuanos are flocking to coffee shops for drinks and great conversations.
Cafe Amicus is that cozy and hip neighborhood place that you always wanted to have in a coffee shop. It has those marvelous hardwood tables and chairs, free wifi, wonderful decor, electrical outlets for your gadgets, and some of the best-tasting coffee drinks I've ever tasted.

Their other ice-blended concoctions like the Nutty Chocolate, Butter Rush, and Butter Ball are a dream come true for non-coffee drinkers. What I like about their ice-blended drinks is that they don't make it too sweet.

They also have a wide variety of tea flavors plus the novelty of having it served in a teapot instead of just in a cup. I was happy that they had Breakfast Tea since that's one of my favorite tea blends.
They serve breakfast for the early risers. They also have cakes and muffins that go perfectly well with their drinks. Cafe Amicus' prices are affordable, especially for students.
Cafe Amicus is accessible since it is just right at the University of San Carlos- Talamban Campus.
They're open from 8am-8pm, Monday-Sunday. Make sure to visit and enjoy their company.
